There's a thing called coli opinion and the real world. The coli likes to thing that they represent the real world as if Google and social media didn't exist.

I didn't like the album but it sold well, and got good reviews. This is not very common for 50 year old artists. Besides the fact that a breh might enjoy making music. If every artist with one classic didn't drop anything that couldn't match it we would miss out on a lot of great music.

Wasn't strong enough.

K-Dot performed adequately.
Em killed it but needed more features.
Snoop is pushing 50 and his flow is trash these days.
Ice Cube is literally some old guy from a legendary group.
And Xzibit...well he's like the step brother you only meet at family get togethers, you'll shoot the shyt with him, but you're never going to listen to his mix tape, and you forgot/erased his number the minute he gave it to you.

Needed newer artists; J.Cole would've been nice, Pusha (I don't know how he wasn't on this), I would've even preferred the Game (kinda weird how he wasn't also featured).

Dre fukked up big time excluding the artists that could've carried this.

Have to remember the same people who call this album weak...praise furture and drake...Album was flames...and Dre produced the perfect classic trilogy.

Listened twice, don't even remember if I deleted it or not

Sounded like Dre switched up his flow to emualte Kendrick, features were meh, production was clean as hell but not one track made me feel like I was listening to DR DRE the legend.

:what:

Ice Cube is just some old guy from a legendary group?

This was a Dre album not Pharrell or Kanye. Why would Pusha be on it?

Cole?

As for Game not being on it:

What it was is people won't accept the album for what it is vs. what they think it should've been. When the Detox references leaked, those got hated on too. When Dre dropped Compton, you had people backtracking, talking about how he should've released Detox as if they were loving "I Need A Doctor" when it dropped. You had people thinking Compton was going to be some kind of throwback to the NWA sound because it came out around the time of the movie. Then you had people wanting a Khaled style, star studded compilation with DJ Mustard, Mike Will Made It beats. When the album dropped and it stuck to Dre's formula of featuring artists he's put on, a few fellow West Coast artists, some guest vocalists and a host of no-name artists, it was disappointing. Then there's the fact that were no singles or videos.

I can't go back to it because of Dre's rapping. It just sounds so weird. The last verses from Dre that were decent were from "Compton" on Kendrick's GKMC
