Do you feel that there are less images of black people in the media? movies, comedy, TV shows, etc. It seems like these days black artists have moved on to social media etc.

Maybe we(especially american black people) were what was "in" and "cool" back then, and we've been seen as a fad that has run its course?:lupe:

black people are just as cool as we ever were. I'd say we're even cooler now than before based on the increase in culture vulture activity. The world more often looks to black americans for whats cool than any other culture. Even without us being in shows on tv most of our slang, mannerism, singing style and dances are continuously shown whether in watered down form or done by us.

In my opinion we aren't as close knit as a race as they were back in those days. Although I was a child in the majority of the 90s it seemed that black people stuck by black people. These days, we're so quick to throw another black person under the bus when something happens. There's no longer any unity among the race. That's just my opinion

we got the internet, everything is better and realer now. celebrities you used to admire are now fully exposed as being worse than regular people like you and me.

extremely flawed people and useless, this era is better than the fake 90s.
