Everything is commercial and all about the dollar now.

Shows like Martin or New York Undercover were gritty and relatable. Now we have shows like House of Payne or Blackish

which is all commercialized. Sure the issues are real but the soul isn't there. Same with music....thats why all the legends had their heyday in the 90s and early 2000s. They were talking about what they saw and what they were going through. As soon as the cacs saw that hip-hop can be a cash cow they commercialized that too. Now everything is geared towards the club. Cacs ruined true black entertainment

The only thing I've been proud of lately as far as black entertainment is Fruitvale Station and J.Cole the gawd

they're both kind of a throwback.
