Looking back, Common's BE album isn't a classic

I remember when this album came out a few years back and how a lot of people were saying the album was a classic but really there was just a few great songs on there, such as these:

But the rest of the songs were blah.

Naw albums basically flawless

Prime Kanye fueling it with great production
Great rapping
Really accessible album
Overall a really good listen with no skips

Not sure what you're looking for if that doesn't fit the bill :ld:

Common's "Like Water For Chocolate" album >>>>>>>> Common's BE album

Be's not even better than "Resurrection" or "One Day It'll All Make Sense"

Musically and lyrically, Like Water For Chocolate is Common's best:

The Mecca of HipHop
The top album I play from Common from Be is "Be" to "Go" to "Testify" and the "The Food" even when they performed it live on the Dave Chapelle show was Piff. Can't hate when heads choose Like Water for Chocolate. The gems on there like "Light" and "The 6th Sense" are known by hiphop.

The album is classic but believe it or not the production was not mastered well on certain songs making it feel not as feel as cohesive. Like for instance, what's up with the sound level on "Chi City? Ok, now compare that song to "Real People" and I dare anyone to notice the difference in sound quality on those tracks.

Finding Forever probably is not classic but it was a f**king dope album and it had better cohesive sound mastering and quailiy.
