Keeping my overhead low, and my understand high
idk, college worked out great for me. It replaced the years of experience i needed to get where I am now. My ASM is 44 and worked her way up starting at 29 just be a ASM but I'm over 20 years younger than her and I'm above her and I make double what she makes because I have a degree. and I'll make more once I graduate :ohlawd:
Why can't I send you PMs, brehette?

Do you work in banking?

looking back on it I knew it was bullshyt........if I'm trying to be a _______ then why the fukk u got me taking some dumb ass course on the history of volcanic rocks. And most of my professors didn't have any real world experience....I know they got those jobs through nepotism....

I would be staring at the ceiling thinking "how is this gonna get me money?" in class sitting with 200 other drones, texting and talking about bullshyt not even paying attention, because mommy and daddy is paying their tuition and they know they got connects

I never liked that put...filled with a bunch of corny mothafukkas with stupid opinions...basically a bunch of occupy wall street kids....a bunch of stupid spoiled hipsters that come from wealthy families ...

that shyt is a racket and I knew it was bullshyt...the govt payed for mine but if i had to take out loans...no fukking way i would've went.... college is basically an illusion

they seduce u with sex, partying, penthouse style dorms, sports teams, student lobby , bars, clubs, entertainment.....but really they created this to seduce u into handing over 80 k and now you're stuck with the loans plus interest, basically you're a govt slave for life...now u got chicks being fukked in the ass by 70 year old dudes tricking off their pension college so she can pay off those loans and u got dudes with master degrees delivering dominoes pizzas ...smh

thats some bullshyt man

All of what you said just proves you didn't go to college at all. Nobody has Penthouse style dorms. Most Dorms are two bedroom, which is shared by a floor and more likely than not, guarded by a douchbag of a floor monitor. People who think being in a dorm is a pent house experience doesn't know what they're talking about.

Secondly nobody pays 80k unless it's an online degree. Or the person is extremely wealthy already. The only problem is that these online colleges rank one and two for black college degree graduates. However these aren't considered REAL colleges.

Im an accountant at a CPA firm

Could not do that without college.

P.S.
Major in Psychology Brehs :comeon:

:whoa:.......I majored in psychology.....although I spent my first 3 years in Electrical Engineering, 1 in Physical Therapy, and I finally just decided to finish in psychology. I do pretty well. Not at 100K, but not far off either. Being in the workforce for the last 7 years, I've learned in most cases, it doesn't matter what you major in. A degree helps get you in the door, and the rest is on you. I'm a Financial Analyst. My degree has nothing to do with the field I work in. College is what you make of it, but more important than classes, is making sure your networking. It ain't what you know......Naw, it ain't who you know either....It's who knows you:usure:

Yeah its Math how often do you use trigonometry? We all use reading, english. Most of math they teach is a joke.College is only good for networking, talking.I been apart of a public speaking organization for 6 years, and trust me education can get you in the door but it can only take you so far.Now you do need education for nursing, law school, computers etc... but that Liberal Arts degree isn't making 6 figures isn't it :heh:

Only broke ass nikkas don't need math

I'm assuming your a salesman, but for giggles... have you passed any series exams?

I have people in my accounting firm also who didn't major in accounting but they will NEVER work on projects that are specific to accounting knowledge.

Please don't encourage others to major in topics that require advanced degrees and your a exception to the rule.

I also am a type of person to work for myself so.....pysch doesnt work for me:yeshrug:

It was a waste of time for me. PWI for the L.

And it doesn't matter for most people where you get a degree just that you get one. As stated above, its a foot in the door.

After that, its on you.

Meanwhile I posted a thread about coding courses for less than $20 and nobody was interested :coffee:

thread plug

No excuses in 2016 brehs :eat:

TBH people just don't want to work for anything. I have a degree and it's worked out great :yeshrug: Life isn't about any specific path but being successful requires hard work regardless of what you do.

Taking a course in coding is like taking a course in reading. It is useless without actual problem solving skills

can u explain what stem is?

S.T.E.M

Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics

Essentially Medicine, IT, Engineering, Analytics are concrete and fields that have quantifiable skills, unlike Liberal Arts such as Art, History, English, Women's Studies. Often these fields have a strong emphasis on mathematics and science which many students don't have the interest or aptitude to take these majors.

What 18-year old wants to learn about linear regression or recursive functions, or data structures? Nope, they often want to take a major that "doesn't require math, because it is hard" and hence we have a generation of 21 year-olds 130K in debt with a degree in Communications....

I was a Comp. Science/Engineering major and it takes quite a bit of discipline to tackle any STEM-related subject.

If you don't have discipline or focus, college will be the least of your problems.
