Because Drake brings nothing but that to the table, and his stans are aware of that. If he stops having that, then they have no arguments to be honest. That is why they will just just be into that project. That is why they need to be patronizing and type out dissertations for when the project is the most suitable in place of just allowing the music to be the one shining

It ain't just Drake stans though, I see these "sales" arguments all the time. I can't even imagine how mind-numbing it would be to listen to good music but your mind is on how many White people have bought it this week.

That’s not a rollout. The passage of time has never been considered a rollout.

It has to be considered in this case since we’re talkin about a supposedly big artist who should have dropped 1-2 years ago really

Can we stop using the word "sell" when nobody is actually really "selling" anything anymore? 95% of shyt is streams....

I don’t think that there’s a commonly known definition of roll out. As I see it, it’s any strategy to release an album. Others see it as spending money for the album release. Others with singles and interviews and the list goes on.

In 2022 there’s no need for logistics when you release an album. Posting on IG or not, people are not putting shyt on their calendar. They check social media every day. If you are as big as Drake, Beyoncé, Adele and on. The surprise could even trump something expected.

That’s the thing, there is a definition of rollout.

A rollout often refers to a significant product release, which is frequently accompanied by a strong marketing campaign, to generate consumer interest.

Kendrick rollout wasn’t traditional but it was a rollout is what I’m saying.

But he honestly could’ve did what you say with bigger artists and just dropped it without giving us a release date, the heart, or anything

Stop making threads about stream stats and start making threads about how neither has put out a classic in years. The throne is for the taking
