Because Drake brings nothing but that to the table, and his stans are aware of that. If he stops having that, then they have no arguments to be honest. That is why they will just just be into that project. I don’t think that there’s a commonly known definition of roll out. As I see it, it’s any strategy to release an album. Others see it as spending money for the album release. Others with singles and interviews and the list goes on.

In 2022 there’s no need for logistics when you release an album. Posting on IG or not, people are not putting shyt on their calendar. They check social media every day. If you are as big as Drake, Beyoncé, Adele and on. The surprise could even trump something expected.

That’s the thing, there is a definition of rollout.

A rollout often refers to a significant product release, which is frequently accompanied by a strong marketing campaign, to generate consumer interest.

Kendrick rollout wasn’t traditional but it was a rollout is what I’m saying.
