Since this is The official impression thread I’ll repost

The load times don’t seem that great to me compared to what i saw on the ps5 dev kit times.

It sounds like it’s gonna be true that the xbox will be the more powerful system in terms of 4k/120fps gaming and ps5 will be the faster system at 1440p/60fps with the faster loading times.

Damn this Xbox sounds like a well made machine. I need a console for travel since I’m a PC gamer but I don’t feel like Xbox would make much sense. Any reasons to get a Xbox if u own a PC?

You can get the series S which is very travel friendly and cheap. But if you already have a 4k capable pc, no there’s no reason to get an xbox

If you need a console for travel then the Xbox would be perfect since you can access it on a mobile device, connect your controller and just play it wherever you are.

Do you need an actual Xbox for that ? I thought xcloud lets you stream games with gamepass to your phone ?

Yes, The Verge dropped an article last week detailing how it works on iOS with the Xbox App. It turns on your Xbox silently, and you basically have remote play with your home console.

Not sure if you are unaware but you can do the same thing with a PC via Steam Link, Parsec or Nvidia Gamestream to Android/IOS devices. I've tried it on my work iPad while away on a pretty basic 5GHZ wifi and it worked fine. Supports any bluetooth controller as well. You don't necessarily need a PS4 or Xbox just to stream games remotely.

He just played FF15 at a locked 60fps

I'm bout to nut

:noah:
Where? What resolution? I was playing FFXV last night and even on a 2070 super and a 3700X, I can't hold a locked 60fps in certain areas.

Edit: NVM. That's the lite mode which is 1080P/60fps.

I was playing at 4K/60fps.(75% res).
