The success that East Asians had in the 20th century to throw off White supremacy was not based upon 'racial unity'. Ask a Korean if they're racially unified with a Chinese or a Vietnamese

Their success stemmed from the fact that they lived in states which had a strong capacity. Africans states have a weak state structure due to colonialism and other associated factors. However, this doesn't mean that Black African states will always remain this way. Some states can overcome this by simultaneously nation-building (building a national identity e.g. I am Kenyan rather than Luo or Kikuyu) and building a strong state capacity of function (e.g. having an autonomous bureaucracy which can effectively administer a state). Boko Haram does two things to ruin those dynamics in Nigeria.

a) It sows division between Christians and Muslims making the formation of a Nigerian identity harder to form, since Boko Haram targets Christians living in the North.
b) Boko Haram kills agents of the state, blows up state infrastructure and is trying to retain control over Nigerian territory.

Yup. A lot of TLR posters don't have a deep understanding of politics and history so they don't see that what he's expressing is very common.

OP, the problem with this type of thinking is two-fold:

1) After the revolution you still won't get to the state you're dreaming about. This is what every one from Crusaders to the Communists were going for. But even once your 'revolution' is in power issues remain and life goes on with the same problems, groups, finite resources, disagreements. Some things can't be solved by escaping to a new fantasy future

2) Meanwhile you are causing a lot of harm chasing this fantasy future. Genocide, massacres, all the rest.
