Jamar said something that I think is better than "I can't relate"... cause honestly, I don't have to 'relate' to shyt in music just to like it, but Jamar's word 'RESONATE' is a much better way to put it.

A great deal of Em's shyt just fails to 'RESONATE', especially these last 15 years or so. And there's a lot of rappers that are considered to be great MCs that fail to RESONATE, just like a lotta wack nikkas who also fail to RESONATE. Them shyts don't hit a nerve, they don't get a reaction (unless cutting it off counts), they don't make you wanna listen to it again and again... it's just some shyt you hear and even if its technically sound, you don't give a fk about it. That's how I've felt about a great deal of Em's shyt, and even some of his older stuff that was kinda different/cool when I was 19 but wouldn't listen to now.
