At the end of the day there is no point in having discussions like this because you don't know who you're talking to. We're supposedly 12 percent of the population in America, what percentage of black people do you think are on the internet? Even if every black person in America was an internet-a-holic it would still be more non-blacks surfing the internet, and of that percentage of blacks, half of them grew up around a healthy number of non-blacks.
My point is, contrary to popular belief, the majority of the posters on this forum (and any others, hip-hop or otherwise) will be non-black-- even if they are so obsessed with our culture that they pretend to be one of us. Therefore, you will always see a good number of posters playing devil's advocate with a contrarian point of view, unable to empathize or relate to the actual issues that pertain to black culture, because they are not actually apart of it.
