there are also a lot of ppl who think that "hip hop" is something they have to know like it is some kind of subject in school.
there are also a lot of ppl that think that because you didn't grow up IN NYC that you aren't hiphop.
there are also a lot of ppl that hiphop is all about what you listen to, or what you wear.
and ANYONE saying that whites, or asians, or latinos,etc can't BE hiphop. or that just being black makes someone MORE hiphop than anyone else is just being an ignorant fukk.
we ALL know the origins of hiphop, we all know how it started and what it represented. ANYONE taking that away from blacks is just as ignorant.

Sure the japanese created karate...but that doesn't mean some white or black dude can't become proficient with it, dedicate their lives to it and obtain great success with it. if a black dude was born and raised in Japan, and grew up around all that japanese culture he can't be proud of that? he can't be apart of it?
that doesn't take ANYTHING away from the originators. does it?

its like saying Blacks are more athletic than whites. Such generalized statements just open up horrible doors and invite more ignorance.
then some whites come back and say shyt like whites are smarter than blacks.
or Latinos are naturally hard working
or asians are just naturally good at math
