He has broader appeal than pretty much any rapper in the game I can think of. If he isn't "that type of artist" who is?

He didn't have broader appeal out of people who were into gangsta rap / eastcoast Hip Hop.

If you think Max B could do songs with Katy Perry and Justin Timberlake, you are sadly mistaken.

Don't take it as me knocking him, I like his shyt. I just know that he's a male, hip hop head type artist. Not a everyone, jump between genres type artist.

Lord jammer is a legend and whatnot but he needs to go fukk himself at this point.

fukk his opinions and everything he stands for. He's a 50+ year old piece of shyt wearing a fitted sounding all sour for no other reason other than he's not relevant himself.

Oh and honestly Brand Nubian are fukking trash, they're one of those old Hip Hop groups you remember whilst you're high and you burst out and laugh about. They didn't push the envelope, Hip Hop would still be the same if they didn't exist. :camby:

In God We Trust was allllllrrrrriiiiiiiiiiiiight but I've never seen it brought up in 90's classic albums. They're like a poor mans Tribe.

fukk a Lord Jamar :mjlol:

of course not... its a fukkin remix

point still stands, listen to the shyt, tell me that they dont sound wavy together

Max B is dope breh, I am not saying otherwise. But as far as him crossing over and getting in the studio with Justin for the masses, not going to happen.

Hes TOO WAVY is I guess what I am getting at.

It's better to admit you had no idea of his existence to say Max B didn't have next.

You can't name a rapper who had Max B's output and following until THIS DAY (out of NY, since Max). I dont give a fukk what y'all talkin about Max B was killin everything EXCEPT the radio (he had no record deal) but that was next.

Really... y'all who are on the internet all day need to stop this. Max B was killin the club. I'm from Toronto... and Max B was burnin down everything even over here. He was definitely next. Jim Jones should have never had a chance at all... same with French (I fukk with old French), but French and/or Jim Jones are crumbs compared to what Max B was doing.

He had next... don't try to rewrite it. Max B gettin locked up is what's stopping NY from prospering today.

THE WAVEMENT.

Lol this is a pretty ridiculous strawman, even for TheColi.com

Don't purposely confuse "broad" with "pop". Big Pun could go from "Still A Player" to "John Blaze" in a heartbeat. I am talking broad appeal within the context of rap music.

And Max B does better on JT tracks than JT himself.... while still keeping it street. He wouldnt need JT :camby:

LOL. Do you understand the term you are using? You are the one who is misrepresenting my comment, not vice versa. I am talking about BLOWING UP, not doing well in Hip Hop. That's absurd. Why would that even be argued that if Max B didn't go to jail he could still be known in Hpi Hop:snoop:

And no matter how much you like Max B, he's not the same level artist as Justin Timberlake. Don't show your hand of stan cards like that if you want to have a serious discussion.
