When this and HOTD were airing around the same time for their first seasons I thought HOTD was clearing it by a mile.

Now I think the gap will be narrowed this time, as I imagine this season will be more “fun” at least

Just finished my rewatch of S1, aside from a few wonky edits which mess with timelines a lot (which the movies also did) I still love this show.

Day one we there.

My gripes with Season 1 aside, I am all in for season 2. I think my biggest issue with season 1 was down to some of the character dialogue... it just felt like a lot of the characters weren't charismatic enough.. I'm not sure if it was all dialogue or some of the actors/actresses weren't that great.

But I did like the overall premise of the season and it was a beautiful show to look at... the season picked up steam as it went along.

My favorite character was breh elf

What the hell is going on in this show, can't tell if this nikka is a villian or not or who the hell Sauron is. Also how the hell is it LOTR but theres no swashbuckling action

I think the show experienced some growing pains but the source material is strong and it will be a good one.
