Yeah that was hot during that year. Although I was only like three or four years old.

My mom actually grew up with peter gunz. She event went to coreys baby shower back when he only had one baby moms lol.

I remember meeting him in like 99 or something like that He was trying to get me to play with corey I and was like :camby:nah breh leave me alone :pachaha:

So your moms grew up with Peter Gunz huh? :shaq:
You should learn how to treat her
I guarantee, Peter knows how to..........

So sad. Hindsight is 20/20. Tariq had an album too that never came out cause the feds confiscated it or some shyt. These nikkas is dumb unlucky

I wouldn't necessarily call it unlucky. This nygga Pistol Pete was ordering hits from jail, Tariq was his mans, so of course the Feds were monitoring him.

MC Milk of Audio Two sorta talked about this on Ed Lovers show...

They never cleared that sample and if you don't clear samples, the original artist is entitled to all royalties. That's the punishment for not clearing it.

basically. you don't want make somebody making money off your hard work

That's what happens when a song comes out with a sample that isn't cleared. Original artist can sue for 100% of profits and win.

That's why its a gamble using a sample for a non commercial track because if it pops off then you over a barrel trying to get it cleared cause the artist knows its already a hit.

True...but the game is the game

Religion is dumb b
I don't blame them for not clearing the sample only because they didn't think it was gonna blow up. But on that note you should NEVER NOT clear a sample for a single. If this was just another back burner on the album it probably would be ight. But a single that's just unnacceptable

And the copyright probably extends to shows as well, meaning they get a piece of concert sales or whatever. They tight :umad:
