Downtown LA is another world, even compared to Downtown SF.
At least there all the homeless people are either crazy or on drugs.
The homeless in LA are sophisticated, they have their own society and shyt in Skid Row. You can get fukked up for NOT being homeless in the wrong area.

It's actually (somewhat) feasible to live downtown today but it's not common out here. LA just isn't built like that shyts too spread out.

I was in Hollywood a few months ago and the amount of young(25-35) homeless black people was depressing af. A lot of them didn’t even look like a “traditional” homeless person either

shyt is sad AF...but you know on the coli...everybody making 6 figures...got 6 certs...got 6 dime pieces...and could give a fukk about homeless people or the homeless and think they all deserve to be homeless cause they weren't motivated enough to get those 6 figures...
or they say they are drug addicts or all mentall illy so it makes them dismiss anything about their humanity.
And they can always sell off their cars
and their phones (that they don't have)
and their laptops (that they don't have)
(even though they need those to find employment to make money to keep a roof over their head and have a chance to ever "reintegrate" back into society after dealing with homelessness.
Chances are aside from those exceptions, a good amount of people in those tent cities once had jobs and once were employed...but one missed paycheck or their business closed and now they out on the street.
Lord knows with the gap betweem the rich and the poor widening and a manufactured housing crisis where the scarcity is created by exorbitant rents few can afford, this will be the new normal in American cities.
Nobody understands inequality here truly....even though they understand racism and white supremacy.
The majority of those homeless in Los Angeles I'm assuming are Black...like it is in NYC....but apparently homelessness is just a white people problem on this board.
In Denver, you got rich white people living in Apartments in downtown, and black and spanish people making up a disturbing percentage of the homeless.

I hate to be that guy, but this is happening in the most liberal state and most liberal city in the country. I mean, at some point, liberals have to take responsibility for this.

WE do NOT have these safety nets that white people have. I've been trying to stress this to the board...but people on this forum are fake as fukk and pretending they don't get it to position themselves higher than homeless people...even though they're probably a few missed paychecks or one away from sleeping in their car.
I went through that...so YOU wouldn't have to.
People want to feel better than others at their lowest, to make them feel better about their shyt position in life.
When i was homeless, people made fun of me on this board to make themselves feel better.
Then I got my life right...and those same people are repping me in threads and trying to act like they ain't never talked shyt on me.
I know who they are too...I won't @ them because I am luckily not a vengeful person like that.
