I finally played the demo. I can see why and understand somebody dislikes this game.

IMO, combat wise, I thought it was really fun! A little rough around the edges and I think the sounds are sorely lacking. However, I found it pretty easy to pick up and make some impressive-looking combos. A bit janky overall.

The voice acting was pretty rough and not feeling it. Maybe because it's the only English voice in the demo. I want to hear Japanese dub. I have a feeling the story is going to be balls and seems uninspired, and I would like to wrap it up, but again, I dislike the English dub in this game. You can't change the language voice since it's a demo. I'm glad I didn't pre-order. The graphics weren't bad but not impressive. I can see why someone said it feels like PS4 graphics. The fact is that I played on a PS5 Pro and this game is Pro enhanced and Devil May Cry 5 is not Pro enhanced and the DMC5 graphics are way shytty on these Lost Soul Aside graphics.

I would cop it on sale for $20 or wait for PS Plus Month.

Aiight played the demo, hmm maybe the actual base game is worse but it wasn’t that bad. Not sure what everyone was expecting from this considering how the game came to be. The combat is great, that’s the one thing they had to get right, everything screams inexperienced team with low budget, which it was.

Seems like a basic 6-7/10 type game

Played the demo. The lack of impact and “oomph” during combat is very unsatisfying to say the least. And the visuals are inconsistent as hell. Game just seems very unpolished overall despite having some neat ideas.

They should have never marketed and priced this as if it were a AAA game. Should have been marketed as a budget $40 AA game or something

They didn’t market this at all. And I guess we now know the reason.

Could not recommend anyone buying this unless it's like below $30 at the most. I'd say below $20 to be fair.
