the article said the placenta naturally falls of around 10 days after birth so it's not like these people at doing this shyt for weeks on end.

In nature most animals bite it off to sever it from the infant and eat the placenta (probably to regain nutrients since the birthing process expends so much energy)

Go to a farm or zoo you wont see piglets or zebra calves carrying a "lotus" around....

TBH when i had my daughter the hospital takes it and makes you sign a waver....I bet the natural fall off way is probably better for the baby...I am not gonna go that far but i think i will try to keep it on a bit longer next time.

You cant be serious bruh...The placenta is basically a membrane full of blood...once its out and no longer circulating or getting oxygenated by the uterus it dies....Have you seen what happens to blood sitting for a few hours.Thats the cause of that smell in the slaughterhouse

BTW the bacteria that digest decomposing blood and tissue are some of the worst pathogens
