That was neither edgy nor funny. This is not the same as the CK stuff posted in this thread at all. A more accurate bit to bring into the picture- what did you think of Dave Chappelle's "Ni g g ar Family" skit?
Cause this is based on a similar idea (white people saying it) as CK's is, and I don't think anyone would call Dave a racist for writing a skit (with his white co-writer, too,) specifically about white people using the word and rehashing stereotypes about Black people. He was conveying a very subversive message.
To be honest.
I don't care for comedy much as it is, especially not of this sort.
I don't see the humor in firing off N i g g er, if you do, that's fine.
Do you.
And whether or not you find that goofy australian comedian "edgy" or "funny" there are
plenty of people who do, and many look for ways to reinforce their racism
through these sorts of comedians.
I mean just look at the comments below the Louis CK videos.
Or any other comedian that uses race as apart of their stand up act or
their television shows.
This goes for Chappelle, Chris Rock and the australian kid among others....
@
The Real I'm not as well versed in comedy or stand up
as other posters on TheColi, so I'd have to give the medium
a serious look before I could say I honestly see the humor in
"Louis C.K."
