well if you miss the playoffs at 10-6 that ain't the coach fault...going 2-14 is...Bears fans are spoiled my Bengals would of killed for that in the 90s and 2000s

look man, u can't go not making the playoff that many times and expect to be retained.and its his own fault. last season the bears started off 7-2 and they offered him a deal. he was like :whoa: at the deal and said no and proceeded to go 3-4 the rest of the way and miss the playoffs. its his own fault he's unemployed this season.

lovie is completely clueless on offense, and in today's NFL, if you cannot grasp offense, you're gonna fail. getting a good OC is easier said than done. he was here 9 years, and went through about 5 OC's and failed each time in that aspect.

in fairness, the bears had one of the worst offensive rosters in the league for years when he was there.

i cant even think of who their top playmaker was that year they went to the super bowl.

probably devin hester or some shyt. but even last year, when they had b-marsh going ham, and cutler and forte still on the roster, he couldn't get them to do shyt either. couldn't get any offensive scheme to work with cutler in 4 seasons.

mind you trestman come in here and one year later, these nikkas are 2nd in the entire NFL in ppg in year one :mindblown:

we are seeing the kinda offensive output that is UNHEARD of in this city. I mean I been watching these nikkas since the 80's and they ain't lit up the scoreboard like this since the days of mcmahon and sweetness.

it's a travesty that he's not still coaching in a league where at least 16 head coaches are clueless as fukk. i wish him the best in H Town.

Lovie had some say in the roster though.

He was big on Kellen Davis' bum ass. Thought Hester could be a receiver. Had Mark Tice as the OL coordinator, then promoted him to OC after we had the worst O-line in the league :wtf:

He took Rex Grossman to the Superbowl!!!, if Cutler didn't sprain his Vagina he would have won one, the Defense held Rodgers to 14 points and Chicago fires the guy the next year?

I am at a loss for words as to why Lovie Smith is unemployed right now. Winning record + superbowl appearance should equal employment.
