You should balance your macros, but if you have to choose, lower fats. Per gram of fat its 9 calories vs 4 calories per gram of carbs. You never cut fat put completely but you can overeat off of fat way quicker than clean carbs. Balance your diet and get your exercise.

All that I said matters if you track cals. If you only eat by feel, results will vary.

Neither. You need both fat and carbs. It’s about the kind of carbs (fiber filled grains, veggies, fruits)you consume, and when you consume them. The same with fat—in moderation good fats (olive oil, coconut, nuts, avocado) are good for you. Keto and other low carb diets have been shown to not be sustainable in the long term and are often difficult to stick with if your really busy. The best diet is well rounded, so that your getting the nutrients you need from each group, have energy, and can sustain in the long term. Work out, eat less than you burn (unless your trying to build), cut back on processed food and sugars though.
Keto is perfectly sustainable if you have discipline. It's just not for the mentally weak.

Fat asses always looking for an easy way out :mjlol:

Exactly. This is just blubber babble. :scust:

Eat less. Workout more (more often, more intensely, and for longer). Fat folks picking none of the above.
:francis:

How about a moderate carb, moderate fat diet + actually putting in work at the gym?

Inb4 a “it’s 70% diet/30% exercise” rebuttal from a motherfukker that’s weaker and flabbier than myself.

Brown carbs are more nutritious than white carbs, but they are still the same in terms of calorie intake.

Avoiding bready foods altogether, getting more passive intake of the carbs you need, and leaning on meals that are heavy in lean meat (protein) and vegetables and moderate on the rice/carb portion will have you dropping weight like it's nothing. Cut off breads for just a month and lose at least 10 lbs instantly.

Depends what you tolerate better.

Calories in calories out to create a deficit is the overall goal. How you wanna get there is preference

I’ll cut carbs before I’ll cut fats because protein and fats are more filling to me and I won’t go crazy the way I will if left to my devices with carbs.
Carbs are second only to sugar as the biggest killer of any diet. I'd say buttery fried food is far worse (it is) but carbs are so much more common in people's everyday diet. Anyone who doesn't prefer bread and sugary desserts is surely able to maintain their weight.

Idk. I’m back to eating breads again or I should say flour based foods, and it keeps me hungry, even ravenous at times. When I was eating the same meal everyday (20 chicken wings) and a side of veg, I was so well formed, now I’m bloated and watery. Funny cuz I just started low carbing again this week but now I’ll probably use fish or chicken thighs.

As it's been stated, everyone's body reacts differently but mine definitely reacts better to low carbs for sure.

After decades of battling being overweight and finally making progress, my suggestion is to eat a balanced, anti-inflammatory diet. That cuts out processed and grease fried foods, as well as sodas/juices. Also, CICO might work, but cutting calories never worked for me, because the metabolism adapts, hormones get messed up, and you can't go back to maintenance or you'll gain weight. Create a caloric deficit with exercise while eating until you're full. It needs to be something that can be maintained forever. I think this is the way.

Calorie intake + Hard workouts

I stay away from carbs cause I know that’s what stick on me more.

Consistent calorie burning is the best way to kick it into gear and learning how to stretch is too important
