This is why they say Americans are entitled/mentally soft and companies are looking at immigrants to do the work. That item weighs less than 100 lbs.

I feel bad the kid is about to get ridiculed, but maybe this will wake that kid up for the best.

Somebody found the item:

The reactions from people in that thread pitying him and blaming everyone else are only enabling soft behavior. :snoop:

People really in that thread talkin bout "safety regulations..." That's exactly why this country is screwed. It's a hundred fukking lbs.

No wonder why immigrants be looking at the workforce here like food.
I mean ain’t no reason to be screaming like a bytch but he shouldn’t have been on that thing trying to get it down. What if he drops it and it hits someone. It should be on a pallet that you can get with the little forklift; shyt I can’t even remember what it’s called but you could fit in any isle of you had to.

I remember doing this shyt when I worked at Lowe's. He panicked more than anything else. All he had to do was let the box rest on the lift and go down. If the machine was stuck (should be an emergency release/directional at the bottom), I would just let chucked that shyt and let it hit he ground. Ultimately, they would rather potentially take the L on an item than to have something tragic happen to an employee.

Lowkey funniest part was the old part-time retirey nikka not being any help at all.

Funny enough, the lift that's better equipped to take that item down is in the appliance storage area in the back; taller and bigger but a lot more difficult to maneuver around the store so you end up stuck with that blue bull shyt.

So as posted earlier this was the product. https://www.lowes.com/pd/allen-roth-A-R-Pointer-Ridge-2-CT-SWVL-GLDR/5002070483

It's 2 chairs in a box. Each chair is 47.63lbs. So that's a total of 95.26 lbs. I'm gonna blame the awkward angle, but yeah I feel bad for laughing. I'm glad he made it out okay.... at least I hope he did.

Somebody mentioned it before but that should've been on a pallet to allow for a smaller forklift device to get it. Problem is, everyone can't operate those devices, especially in a store, so some buff overnight stock nikka decided to to muscle it up there on the blue lift. More convenient but difficult to manage.

I worked at home depot right out of high school, shyt was miserable. You'd be surprised how many customers expect recent high school graduates earning minimum wage to be able to walk them through the steps of installing a new deck to proper code regulations.
Same shyt for me. I was at Sears Hardware though.
