Thanks to the lawyers uh, I marbled the foyer
I was unemployed for a lil over a year. Lowkey started to get down spirited too
Nothing about myself was fukked up just that the job market was tight
and I needed a break
I did take that time to be productive and start working on my MBA

After college, no job, living at home, basically what I refer to as my nomad years. Life is the exact opposite now thanks be to the Lord

lost my job... the so-called friends at the time not once came through to help me out.. not even 20 dollars for gas.. same people I help out and bought drinks in the club with

When I went to prison.
Up until they shackled my hands and feet and put me on that bus, it didn't seem real. I was only 19. I suffered in there beyond what I thought a human being was capable of suffering. But it also gave me hope that I could change my life for the better and that this wouldn't be the end of the road for me.
Now, my life is the best it's ever been. I'm sober, healthy, and making good money doing a job I enjoy. I never need presents for my birthday or Christmas because just being free is a perfectly fine present to me

Great thread OP. I've finally seen the light. I am always champ but champs need rest too. My lowest point was today. This morning actually. As soon as I opened my eyes, I knew it was gonna be a fight. It was hard in my mind but I pulled up on my eyes closed self and kicked his ass out of bed. I don't know bruh. I'm just a moving and shaking type. I hit the ground and pull myself back up because that's all I know and I got to fight for myself and others

I vowed never to step one more foot in NYC for the rest of my life, yet I let my mom talk me into coming back to bum-ass Brooklyn to spend the holidays with family I don't want to be around. Currently laying down on a couch, dying to head back to the Midwest, replying to this thread with this particular thought racing through my misery-laden head:
