Barnes is still a 3rd option on a contending team

Curry is a bench player on a playoff squad

Ferrell has had some good games but be real

That core has 35-40 win potential as is.

What is the point of yall trying to get that 8th spot only to get decimated by the Warriors? shyt is pointless :mjlol:

Why does everyone the treat the 8th seed as a death sentence for a team trying to get better? I'm not saying the Mavs are that team or should be that team, but damn, making it as a lower seed is a rite of passage that you can't really bypass. For almost any squad in that West mix, making the playoffs at least gets your feet wet to the atmosphere of the playoffs and you learn what it takes to get better and grow. Nothing wrong with that. It doesn't mean the team has peaked and they'll never get better. A lot of the teams have either lost for a long time or are super young. Making the playoffs, even if they get spanked by Golden State will help their development. If you run into that spot where you have to debate the 8th seed or another lottery pick, you're just breeding career losers.

Harrison Barnes avg 20.4

Seth Curry avg 19 as a starter

and now Yogi Ferrell :wow: who is this kid
this is only lowkey to casuals

the crazy thing about seth curry is although he is smaller than his brother Steph, Seth Curry is a much better one on one defender even when he is guarding bigger players

its pretty amazing how great he has become on the mavs. early in the season he was coming off the bench but still getting more playing time than he was in sacramento. but ever since he was inserted into the starting lineup he's been avg 19 points a game shooting 50 percent from three. you are absolutely correct about his defense. seth can defend. he plays with so much more confidence now its amazing. rick carlisle really is one of the best coaches in the league. seth is developing before our eyes brehs

funny thing is that seth curry would be the second best player on the kings without a question.
