It was definitely a hit. Didn't care for it either but the album was decent. In real time he was still considered a big deal even after that and was get some big looks in film too.

Luda can rap his ass off but his music was always corny and cringe. I loved Roll Out as a kid though, loved singing that one

I was never a Ludacris fan. He was always hit or miss with me. I absolutely hated number 1 spot even though I heard it once not long ago and it was tolerable. I was just saying money maker was ok for what Luda was doing back then
#1 Spot was fire, Money Maker was garbage.

He had two more number 1 albums and one of his biggest hits (How Low) AFTER Release Therapy how could he be “done”?

he was done as far as being seen as a top Rapper in the game...he was more a dane cook type
