Why do Cavs fans want to break up their team for LeBron so much :mjlol:?

Why break up a winning team good enough to win a championship as is for a 40-year-old LeBron James who might just mess up the chemistry? Adding LeBron to your team at this point doesn't equate to an instant chip or Finals appearance as it used to 7-8 years ago. Yeah, he's still good, but I'm not trading away my young assets and pieces for him at this point of his career, and besides, Bron isn't leaving LA or California.

Very unlikely that he goes to the Warriors either because they'd be essentially trading away most of their supporting cast just for Bron and Steph to play together. I don't see Bron getting traded at the deadline, the only way he's out of LA is through retirement.

NBA is a cold business

Took away his supermax contract of 345M with the trade. He gotta be heated about that.

Lakers don't make no sense. It don’t because now you got 2 ball dominant players who needs the ball majority of time. I guess Bron is 40 and Luke is 25 so they want Luke to build around the lakers after Bron gone

As long as they hold onto their Big 4 they're not losing anyone compared to bringing in Bron.

Mavs realized that Luka isn't healthy nor championship thirsty and called LA front offices. LA realized they were just wasted time and had to begin moving forward. LA agreed to ship AD to a Dallas team that obviously feels he is the critical piece to a real time championship run. Dallas agreed to ship Luka to Lakers team that is ready to rebuild around a young 25 year NBA Superstar.

LeBron is coping with not being in the loop of critical personel decisions for the first time in his career. If he doesn't demand a trade he'll be given the role of mentoring Luka and passing the Laker torch.

They just didn’t want to pay Luka breh :mjlol:

We don’t need to over complicate this shyt.

You talk like AD isn’t known for being “Mr GLASS” so it cannot be for health/fitness reasons.

And of course Lebron knew:mjlol:

Lebron wants OUT.

Him and Bronny will most likely be at the cavs or somewhere else by the deadline :mjlol:

It kind of does when you have random fags come in your thread shytting up the place and saying Bron’s tenure>Kobe’s (a Laker legend that stayed his whole career and brought them five rings) or whining about not mortgaging the team’s future for a playoff run for a 40 year old man’s legacy. Yeah, I’d irrationally hate the fans too. Bron is a lifelong mercenary. He belongs to no franchise. Are we going to give KD the same leniency since every Lestan hates him for “ruining basketball” (beating Bron at his own game from 2017-2019) by going to GSW?

They don’t just hate LeBron stans, they hate LeBron. It’s the LeBron hate that’s irrational.

I hear you but when you have a chance at a talent like Luka, you take it. Worry about the rest later.

we have their 2027 pick :mjlol:

Another angle of this, the Mavs currently don’t control their 1st from 2027-2030

2027 top 2 protected Charlotte to clear space for Klay
2028 pick swap to OKC so they could flip a 2024 pick to Washington for Gafford
2029 1st to Brooklyn for Kyrie
2030 pick swap to SA in the Grant Williams deal

Which makes this trade all the more baffling
