It's wild looking back at that 2018 draft class and seeing that damn near everyone has been traded (some numerous times). Basically every notable player aside from Trae and JJJ

8 out of the top 10
20+ of the first round

I wonder how common that is?

I also wonder if this is gonna set a precedent where they amend the super max clauses?

I can imagine agents and the union are gonna push for more protections in contracts due to the financial loss in the situation for the player and agent.

Maybe they make it that if you reach super max eligibility then it has to be a sign and trade situation. I definitely see a Luka clause being created because of this.
Within 7 years it's probably more common than you think

Just Win Baby
Is Luka even playing right now?

Who knows what he can contribute to the lakers right now.

We all know it ain’t defense, how the hell they supposed to win more games than they would have with AD?? :dahell:

We won't, AD really the only player in the NBA that could carry the 40 year old anchor named Bron. But now we got that future :ohlawd:

I dont get the doom and gloom from Dallas. I dont see them winning a chip with this team. I aint see them winning with Luka :manny:. And if they wanted to get rid of Luka what was a better realistic option?

Spurs wasnt comin off Wemby. And that woulda been hard because of Wembys salary. Most of the guys making the necessary amount of money are older, flabbier, or one sideder. AD a 2 way beast in his early 30s. They coulda done much worse but I am not sure how much better they coulda done...especially if they just wanted to get away from Luka.

Nah, if LeBron would hav even told this shyt would have gotten leaked. The fact that nobody had any HINT of leaking this shyt lets you know how quickly this would have had to been done.
I feel what you saying but the mavs owner used to being a Nike executive and lebron the biggest Nike player that’s playing in the nba doesn’t hear any word of this.. and reports coming out saying the mavs had hit another team up about Luka is very unlikely to me .. now whether he didn’t think it would happen is a different story

What I'm about to say isn't personal, but based on the info being shared and what I hear about Nico Harrison, he sounds like a career dumbass who makes fuked-up decisions one after the next:pachaha: .

:mjlol:.

just realized kyrie is 32 about to be 33 in march. ad is 31 about to be 32 in march.

both of these guys are as good as they're ever going to be. and kyrie is one of my favorite players to watch. but being honest, neither have that championship leader gene in their dna.

luka has the championship leader gene but he doesn't have the dedication yet. plus the lakers don't have the pieces unless they get big time talent when bron retires or leaves.

this trade just doesn't make sense to me for dallas. lakers got a great talent, but seems they're chasing his name and an image rather than building a championship pedigree. weird considering every generation of lakers teams won a title since 2000 (minus short 2 year gap between kobe retirement and lebron signing).

LMAO

THE 2 PLAYERS WHO HAVE WON
TITLES DONT HAVE THE "CHAMPIONSHIP GENE"
