Nico admitting he doesn’t know what he’s talking about, and @Squirrel from Meteor Man still trying to spin shyt as if he does.

All to keep moving the goalposts after he proclaimed Luka would be a bust.

Learn to take a L instead of doubling down and taking a thousand more.

Here's Nico admitting it was his idea to trade Luka, and that he had to convince the owner of his plan.

Now can y'all clowns finally stop talking about how he wasn't behind the trade?

:unimpressed:

ATL to MEM

I didn't know the city fukked with the 25 year old top 5 player in the league that led the team to the finals 9 months earlier like that:hubie:

Sports GMs gotta realize that if your career reaches a point where fan bases of other teams know who you are, you have fukked up on a colossal level. You gotta lay low!

Where’s that AB “I can’t lie I’m getting cooked” meme :mjlol:

They are now saying he alienated Dirk. And fired 20 year veteran medical staff that helped Doncic transition from Slovenia over a video call while his mother was on her death bed. It would be wild if he survived this, only owners usually survive heat like this for obvious reasons

Way before Harrison ever seriously considered trading Doncic earlier this season, he was apparently fixated on purging people and elements within the Mavericks organization that he felt "enabled" Dončić.

One of those people was Casey Smith, the Mavericks' former director of health and performance. Smith is credited as one of the folks who helped Dončić make a full-time transition into American culture as a native Slovenian, and someone the legendary Dirk Nowitzki, who has unsurprisingly loosened his ties to the Mavericks recently, has praised for having helped extend his iconic NBA career. But Harrison reportedly felt "threatened" by Smith's influence inside the Mavericks' halls (given his pull with Dončić).

As a result, Harrison brashly fired him during the summer of 2023, months before the Mavericks would qualify for the 2024 NBA Finals. The awful kicker here? Harrison fired Smith over a video call after Smith had told him he was visiting his terminally ill mother in Ohio.

There is a reason the Mavs traded Luka and I don't think it's solely for his lack of defense. There is something there only they know. Luka may be only 25, but he's headed towards Shawn Kemp status with his weight gain every season and I think they see the writing on the wall. Plus they probably don't want to pay him. And there is no guarantee he's signing back with the lakers when his contract renews. That's a BIG gamble by the lakers. He and Lebron are basically the same player
