But Zbo was more of a "test your toughness" gritty type of player. This is just a little white boy rage. I do see a little bit of Boogie in his character though

Out here in my damn drawls
Diva Doncic really embodies all of the criticisms people make about other players

Selfish
Plays for himself / stats
Bad body language
Not a leader
Doesn't play defense
Complains to the refs constantly

I can definitely see him getting way out of shape and becoming an intolerable thorn once he gets paid

He just has the look of one of those, "If _____ would've dedicated himself and stayed in shape... :wow:" stories

He's been there for 3 years. The championship window didn't start upon his arrival. The only way he was gonna sniff title contention is if he was coming off the bench for the Dubs or something. Getting Porzingis was Dallas being proactive (and they were doing that with the possibility that KP was gonna walk the way Luka might walk). Has Porzingis panned out? No, but that's the risk they took. The alternative was Dennis Smith Jr. freezing him out for shots while The Coli cheers him on.

They gotta be better, but that's also on Luka. Don't let the media's sloppy toppy keep him from needing to step his game up. If the whole basketball world can look at Ben Simmons and devalue everything good he's done because jumpshots are taboo to him, well then they can do the same to Doncic for being a turnover machine who sucks on defense and thinks he's Chef Curry wit the pot from 3.

Terrible comparison. The reason why people devalue Ben Simmons is because his shortcomings make him a liability on the court. You can’t say the same for Luka.

To be fair, everything leading up to the draft was the idea that Dallas didn't wanna add more young guys so they were kinda hoping Poku would fall so they could stash him.

Tyrell Terry at 31 given that he was projected to go as high as 14 was a no-brainer selection

The only rookies they've ever had that ever amounted into anything worth a damn in the last 10 years are Powell, Finney-Smith, Luka and Brunson.
