I know when i scroll and house of highlights or wherever has games up, i peep the pelican ones and afterwards feel impressed.

So are you saying Dallas plays a more exciting brand of basketball or nah. Cuz iliterally fell asleep during the highlights earlier. I know Luca went off... Tim hardaway jr hit a corner 3. That's all i remember.

Other than the desire to have white star power via optics, nobody is really checking for Dallas. They need another superstar to compete. Porzingas can play the Bosh role. Who gonna play Robin tho?

Zion I think will be an icon. Meaning he’ll reach Magic, MJ, Kobe, Shaq, Bron level of popularity and influence.

Luka will moreso plateau in popularity like Wade, Dirk, KG, Duncan, TMac...which isn’t an insult. It’s still fukking popular. It’s just not that rare level of influence like the above class have. And a lot of that is due to the media being on Zion 24-7 but hey, I don’t pick and choose who the media covers.

Zion got a $75+ million endorsement deal before he even stepped on an NBA court and already has more social media followers than Luka despite a year head start in the NBA and an entire continent's worth of free publicity and support from Europe (even Zaza got hundreds of thousands of Euro all-star votes, Luka should be getting millions ). That's just marketability stuff; won't even get into the fact that Zion's putting up stats not seen since Wilt or MJ while out of shape and coming off invasive knee surgery (while Luka was getting outshown by Trae Young this time of year in his rookie season ). Lil Luka got a mile of ground to cover if what you're saying is ever gonna be the case, and Zion's stardom ain't slowing down one bit...

That wasn’t the best Luka game he got numbers because he dominates the ball but he did close the game and had Holiday on skates late

Zo and Jrue were clamping him he was shooting inefficiently and had like 8 turnovers tho prior to the OT.

Not only that Zion guards his position. Zion is a PF he guards PF. Luka is a PG and sometimes a SF but doesn't guard a PG or SF if they are offensive threats. He always guards the 3rd or 4th option on a team.

Thats why I can never take his defensive ratings or any white players defensive ratings seriously (ex Dirk, Nash and etc) because they almost never guard their positions. On top of that the only and I mean only white player who I have ever seen get buckets on one end and guard the number 1 option at times on the other end was Kevin Mchale. I seen that dude drop 20 or 30 and guard kats like barkley, malone and Dominique on the other end.

But back to the subject IMO Luka is actually a far worse defensive player than zion. Like when the pels were playing the lakers they weren't hiding zion on avery bradley or rajon rondo. Zion was actually guarding AD like literally guarding him.

But the mavs constantly hide Luka on defense (as they did dirk for 20 years).

Luka really isn’t as bad a defender as it’s being made to seem. He’s obviously no stopper but he got good size and instincts where you can hide him and he won’t tank your defense.
