True, but extremely ball dominant cats rarely win you titles.
that’s not true, and he’s a really good passer. Who are the best players on championship teams recently - kawhi, KD, lebron...they all play the same position
That being said Zion is a stud

I like Luka but I like Zion too...

right now, Luka. Despite him getting locjed up by Zo and getiing a lot of points from the refs, he had a solid game.

Zion had his most inefficient games mainly because he was not getting any calls at the rim. Literally the tefs would watch Porzingis hit his arm and no whistle.

Plus, this is Zions first pro year... he has a lot of polishing to do along with getting in shape and expanding his raw arsenal. Luka been a pro for a long time... literally focusing on basketball

Luka has elevated curry, Thj, max, the list can go on that's what a " conductor " does

Also The highest scoring offence in the league ,

I mean look what he did to holiday, it's the last second pass that makes that play extra special

Right! He done played a handful of games, Luka played a season and a half already.

Right and people saying he may be "grounded" or less explosive if he suffers a lower body injury not realizing that he's probably the most athletic player in the league and losing maybe 20% of that would still make him a top 10 athlete in the league. He's doing what he's doing w/o a proper offseason. Can't wait to see what he does once he gets to study tape and improve his game

Everywhere...You never there.
Luka. But i hope Zion improves his health to prevent injury on his knees. If he can stay healthy, they botb gonna be neck to neck

Luka handles the rock and can do whatever he wants on the court because of it. Zion spends most of his time waiting for someone else to set him up. So that makes this an easy choice despite Zion's greatness. I gotta choose....

Zion, because I never choose another over a brother. :mjpls:

Zion over Luka but I think Ja will be the best of all the rookies. He's the whole package.

Wish I could choose all of these :why:

Luka has slowed down the second half of each season. His game is also limited. Still a franchise talent but it’s hard to project his max because he came in so polished. He won’t get much better because he came in an All-Star basically.

Zion and Trae Young keep getting better and have a lot of upside as well as elite abilities.

TYRONE GA!
I don't care where the numbers have him, he's lost on defense. Pay attention to him for one game and you'll see it.

Edit: and actually you want a low number for defensive rating. 105.3 is not impressive.

it actually is pretty good. he's currently 121 out of 500 plus players. Some of the cats I'm seeing on the list near the bottom (3-400s) are

Players Advanced

Isaiah Thomas - 498 :to:
Brad Beal - 489
KAT - 472 :scust:
Trae - 476 :yeshrug:
Swipa - 417 yikes
Demar - 448 :heh:
Melo - 410 :skip:
Luka - 366 :lolbron:

I mean, I don't see Zion being a role player in a few years so I'm thinking longterm, Zion will be something special. He'll be also be more athletic by the time he's 21. Ja will basically be a create a player. His ceiling is Steph Curry with hops. My only reason why Ja is above Zion is because his role is a leader and he's already better than Luka.

Well if you go by one game for a player in his second year vs a player in his 15th game then sure, go ahead lol :mjlol:

i keep saying this too....luka been playing professional ball for years....he's polished already.....

and: you put any great ball handler with a defender on an island like that ....i dont care who the defender is...he getting cooked...eventually....you cant stop it everytime

plus they were picking jrue the entire night.....its not like luka was running isos

I just hope Zion doesn't turn out like Blake and Amare, who were both on their last fumes/done by age 29.

That was Blake last year to this year, and Amare by his 2nd/3rd season with the Knicks.

Sometimes it is just luck tho; Russ is still Russ while DRose still breaks down every season like clockwork

Nope, not everyone’s shyt goes up and Nash didn’t see an efficiency dip either.

It’s not excuses it’s context you spoke out your azz. Luka is very skilled he’ll take his L’s and hard knocks like everyone but it’s a good chance he gets at least one ring in his career.

Ur points trash.

You really love defending white NBA players. First Luka. Now Nash.

I wonder why? :ohhh:
