Lmao is this a serious question?

Not even a real debate as far as I'm concerned...

This guy really replied "lmao is this a serious question".

You really have one extreme or the other on this forum. shyt has been garbage for the last 3 years since the Trump invasion.

On one end you have an all time garbage poster like Swagnificent completely downplaying Luka and then you have idiots like above asking if this is a serious question against Zion, when he just scored 35 in his 15th game against the best team in the West and had to be double teamed and even was too much so easily against all time great defenders like Dwight.

Luka is phenomenal, as is Zion. The only reason Luka is the right answer right now is because we need to see more of Zion, and someone like Luka is safer to answer until Zion develops a consistent jump shot, but he has so much time as well.

Lmao is this a serious question?

Luka will be an All-Timer. Zion will be a guy we talk about for a few years, riding his prep and college hype. He will never fulfill the expectations of a #1 pick, but he'll have a Blak Blake e Griffin-type career if he stays healthy, make a few All-NBAs and All-Stars, be a good pro...

If he ever wins a ring he won't be the #1 and if his health becomes a factor, finito early...

Luka is getting another parade to Dallas and is about to run the 20s with a handful of other guys (Tatum, Giannis, a couple guys as yet unknown), Zion will be 2and tier "super"star below those guys at his best...

Not even a real debate as far as I'm concerned...
the media push is way more with z but yeah young bg vibes*

In the end its up to the pels how this ends. If it is poorly ran like when davis was there then you say luka.

But if they can continue to draft well and the young players develop. They will be title contenders (as long as zions knee holds up).

I actually believe they are one very good wing SG or PG away from being a contender and arguably the next OKC (with KD, Harden and westbrrok).

This is like a debate between Lebron and Melo

One is a great player who will have a great career, the other is transcendent. Zion is Lebron in this situation
Nah both have way better Potential than melo

Just know white boy I was the only one on here in 2013 and 2014 saying Kevin Love was trash and not as good as his stats suggested when everyone else was saying he was a top 5-10 player in the league. I was one of the few to say the Warriors would be crazy to trade Klay Thompson for him. Thank goodness Jerry West stopped that. And when the trade to Cleveland happened I said he would be more of a detriment to that team than an asset. As we saw in the 2016 NBA Finals, the Cavs typically performed much better when Kevin Love was off the floor than on it. Also his tenure in Cleveland exposed him as a guy who was more of a stats player than an actual superstar. At some point ya'll need to realize that stats don't tell the story for some players.

In about 3 years when Luka has repeated playoff failures I have a feeling you'll be on here pretending you knew he was never that good to begin with. Just like so many people do now with Kevin Love eventhough in 2013 and 2014 when I was calling him trash, everyone else was saying he was a top 5 player in the league.
Hey man luka out here stat paddling against Zion team :troll:

Luka. Less concerns about his health going forward, he's better right now at a similar age, we have a larger sample size of his abilities in the NBA and he is currently anchoring the best offense in the league this regular season. It is very overlooked that he's shooting 57% from 2 and finishing at a dominant rate at the rim while creating over 80% of his own offense. That's crazy.

The idea that Luka is too ball dominant doesn't make much sense when he's the exact type of player you want to build a offense around as a creator. There have not been many players in this game who were both among the very best playmakers AND scorers in the league at a given time. Luka is that. 21 years old.

Defense being cited as a reason to take Zion doesn't make any sense when he's been bad so far (not surprising for a rookie). His lack of playmaking relative to Doncic is a more important gap in skill than defense.

Put it this way there’s still facets of Zion’s game to be unlocked ,we know that Luka is gonna be an Hall of famer and an all timer but his game will be the same in 5 years just way more fine tuned, way more sharper.

Zion actually has point guard skills believe it or not ,once he loses that likko extra weight and they find ways to incorporate those skills in their offensive scheme it’s wrap because the second defender will always lunges at him in the midpost. it can be reminiscent to the way Lebron is quarterbackin Lakers offense from a standpoint(Don’t ask me how) ...And much more
