When I win I bring we with me
Season 2 was far more consistant & coherent than season 1. This was a great mold to continue for season 3.
  • They picked a big bad
  • Made him interesting
  • Then followed him throughout the season
  • All the while wrapping everyone elses stories around the big events.
This is as opposed to season 1 were they build up a great villain then kill him off too soon all to start fresh and risk a new villain that may(not) work. ...it didn't work.

That said the ending had me so throwed that I had to watch dat shyt twice. The setup for season 3 has me hyped.:ohlawd: ...also was that a "Blade" setup in there about 3/4 into the season at that house party? :dwillhuh::lupe:

SIDENOTE: :beli:

That whole African American V.S. Jamaican rhetoric was wearing thin there after awhile. Thought they was bout to try and pull some of that Black Panther B.S. for a minute there. Luckily they wrapped up all that nonsense in a decent fashion.

:patrice:
it was cool but season 1 was better. curious to see what they do with season 3 considering how this ended. Still better than Iron Fist and Punisher.

I both disagree and agree :jbhmm:
  • Season 2 overall is hands down better than season 1 overall.
  • The first half of season 1 is better than any arcs in season 2.
Season 2 is a faaaaar better "package" than season 1. :whew:
I make a distinction between the excellence of the cottonmouth arc in season 1 vs season 1 as a cohesive unit/package.

Alfre Woodard deserves an Emmy or something. She stole the show :wow:
Yep

she had one or two parts I had to watch twice cause they tripped me out.:heh:
The one that immediately comes to mind is the police station about 19min into the first half of episode 8 - (Interrogation room + Break room)

I liked it enough. The ending had me like :ohhh:

@ Luke basically being Harlem's kingpin which brought out shifty eyes from a few people, most notably Misty's sometimey ass. And Matilda was PISSSSSSED!

Can't wait for season three in another 2 years :wow:

BTW they overdid that intergenerational, interracial romance angle :scust:

I read on here people saying it was boring. This was good fukkin TV.

I grew up reading the comic. The superhero stuff and the fight scenes that Bushmaster werent in were basic as fukk. but the writing :banderas:

the soundtrack, score, and the musical perfomances...:blessed: best fukkin shyt I heard in years.

the cast was powerhouse :mjlit:

and the women :whew:

all the series were good but this is my favorite season, then Punisher, Jessica 1, Daredevil 1-2, Iron Fist (the fight scenes kept this from being totally :trash:), Defenders.
