Alfre Woodard deserves an Emmy or something. She stole the show
well she is a long time great actress. but the other performances were great. Theo Rossi killed it. it goes without saying that the vets did their thing though....Rosario and especially the late great Reg E. Cathey (RIP)

like I said, I grew up reading the comics. so I didnt like the character on the series, nor the actor. writing was forgettable. I just didnt like it. I think the fight scenes salvaged it.
iron fist? nah the fight choreography looked like it was learned just minuted before they shot...and that was disappointing because i also read the comics too...thats why im hoping the dude that plays him redeems himself in the new season of it
the fight choreography may not have been good, I dont remember. I do remember that the fight scenes are the only thing I remember. lol. like I said, I was disappointed. but I thought the fighting in that series was better than the other action scenes except Punisher

I liked it enough. The ending had me like
@ Luke basically being Harlem's kingpin which brought out shifty eyes from a few people, most notably Misty's sometimey ass. And Matilda was PISSSSSSED!
Can't wait for season three in another 2 years

Luke cage has been amazing so far.
Incredible writing especially with the stokes family and Mariah evolution basically during into her grandmother whom she hated.
Nightshade was formidable and well written
The female black characters stood out, misty had a breakthrough performance.
Mariah character throughout was a highlight and stole whatever scene she was in
Maria's daughter was also stunning and acting was up to par.
Shades character was given more to chew on as well
And luke was a beast, also some nice cameo's by iron fist.
