Just took my final thursday in Strength of Materials. Breh... 
There's only 5 people in that class that do well on assignments in that class, everybody else gets single digit scores.
The class in itself is not even hard, its just that the professors always teach shyt ass backwards then the day before things start clicking, but then its too late.
Thats how most of the Physics, Math, and Engineering courses at my school are. Simple classes with horrible professors
