Without even mentioning their names.

:ohhh:

Think about it.

Great Lupe video, but I think he was just explaining how winning doesn't look the same for everybody, and not everyone is playing the same game. Not everyone is judged/judging based on the same criteria as you are

Like another poster said, if anything, he could be speaking metaphorically why it's perceived that Kendrick is a better rapper than him

He said it cost him… so I asked what did it cost? Why you being emo?
He lost.. It cost him the win.. You asked him that like it had to cost him something more. Like there was some other answer to give, and you even gave examples..

He lost the battle he entered with the intent of winning. This is rap. That's all it needs to cost you. An L on your record

the latter. lupe never brought this up he was just saying sometimes you gotta win being the best doesn’t always mean you’re gonna win

Word. I get it. I just don't feel good about anyone putting words in anyones mouth.

However I do get the original posters views and agree in a way.

Pusha T's diss was beyond epic.

All of the subliminals from both of them were crazy.

Drake and Push
Nas and Jay
Royce and Lupe

Are all significant rap battles to me. I think the Lupe Royce one could be the most skilled battle of all time and at that high level.

Pusha “won” only in the minds of chatty patty tmz nikkas

lyrically, drake dragged him through the mud :wow:

The fukk you talking about, Drake himself admitted he lost to Pusha. It was a flawless victory for Pusha.

Drake:
"I tip my hat to the chess move. It was a genius play in the game of chess and definitely warranted my first ‘loss’ in the competitive sport of rapping."

There's no W for Drake here brehs. Nowhere in sight. Surgical summer tick tick tick
