I wonder how many actors, musicians, and athletes would be willing to do a "no more" commercial for racism like they do for domestic violence. Can't even speak about domestic violence, so damn choked up.

Meanwhile, black people are being told to respect themselves in order to not be victims of racism and violence. Imagine if someone said, "women need to respect themselves first if they ever want to stop domestic violence and rape culture". No one world co-sign that bullshyt. The only time victims can be blamed is when the victims are black.

when's the last time you or someone you know was denied a job because of race? :dwillhuh:

And there's plenty of racial bias by the police but you're exacerbating that to a degree that does not exist anymore. If black people are getting arrested for drug charges, it's because they either got drugs, used to sell drugs, or are affiliated with people who deal with drugs. If you wanna be the pro-black, stop making the other pro-blacks look bad.
Looking all over you see white people in high places and blacks all over the lower positions.

Even where I work I see new employees flood in and its mostly white people with one or two blacks.

Most white kids have drugs with more than blacks but they get ignored by police. Stop the bullshyt.

I can tell your a racist white person or a c00n.

we have been in a weaker position for so long that we've mastered the art of victimization, we are automatically prone to look outward when addressing our issues as opposed to looking inward, blaming others for any and everything fukked up that happens to us seems natural. so when a voice, a black voice at that, comes out and puts the onus on us and not "them" it feels wrong, lol, it just doesn't seem right. of course america is racist, of course the system is designed for the black man to have to work twice as hard as the white man to reach the same heights, etc... but what does that mean? that we don't have to stay on our A-games out here and carry ourselves with decorum and love each other and strive for excellence...because a lot of white people and authority figures in general are ignorant pieces of shyt?? what are people arguing regarding Kendrick's comments? he was absolutely correct. i told myself years ago that i would never harm another black man, i would try every way possible to resolve any friction that may pop up before it spirals out of control, imagine if everybody in the hood adopted that outlook. there are black men in america who value black life even less than George Zimmerman and Darren Wilson, think about that, i'd argue that we need to correct that mindset first. lets focus on bettering ourselves and respecting one another, THEN we can put our focus on righting the wrongs that are outward regarding amerikkka

That's the attitude that will keep things as you said they are. I said it in the other thread whites love when we are angered and show them back that same hate that keeps the circle going. Lupe and Kendrick know you have to look pass that and show them we better then that. Work other, teach our children better, And things will progress in time. But instead we walk the path they want us to do, kill, steal murder and show hatred all traits whites also share the difference is our color, it's not fair but it's life and we have to accept that and show we are the bigger people.
Wrong.

Racist white hate us no matter what we do. Kissing their ass doesnt help us at all.

They wont be satisfied until we all work minimum wage jobs with smiles on our faces.

I answered it in the first two sentences :dwillhuh:

You're saying a lot of things I already addressed. I already said in the first post that there is a bias that goes on within the police and maybe even up to the judges. I already stated that there is racism out there. I also stated that the ghosts of systematic racism is still alive (in the old guard police officers, corrections officers, judges, etc.).

Now...with all that being said...the tools are there for black people to completely change the way things are...but in the hoods/projects they don't and it's not because white people are forcing them not to. I grew up in poor neighborhoods and I live near poor neighborhoods now...and it's interesting seeing for myself how poverty is used as an excuse for a select number of my people to act like animals when other races don't. THAT is probably why police target us moreso than other races even though this animalistic nature is a result of centuries of the white man conditioning us to believe we were less than human.
You obviously are not very educated on these issues. @SunZoo isn't either but I've given up talking to that dude about these issues. There is no talking to people who are not willing to listen. It is like talking to a brick wall. No matter how many times you shut them down, you guys just re-word the same poor talking points. You use anecdotal evidence in what is an academic discussion when neither of you are critical race scholars or even give off any semblance of the vibe that you engage with these issues on that scale. Do you know how crazy it sounds to say that you live near poor black people and see some of the mistakes they make and thus the ceiling is only paper thin? What type of teacher would let you submit that for a high mark in college? Let me go take you next to poor white people and show you how they act. Control for the factors and show me a study of other races not doing this and then I'll concede your point. But you will not because you cannot. You're the typical "I made it so why can't you" type of black person that has no understanding of why people don't make it all.

Have you ever stopped to consider that the most educated black people are those least likely to parrot your talking points? The most successful AND highly educated are the least likely to take your stance. There is literally no basis for making a direct comparison between black people and any other group in America because the circumstances are too different. Telling people to succeed in spite of the odds against them is very different from telling them the odds do no exist in the first place or that they are minor. We might need a coli book club for you dudes, and I'm dead fukking serious.

funny how this started as a discussion about iggy and ended with black people at each others throats calling each other nikkas with no other ethnicity in sight

I noticed this irony too... it starts with Azealia Banks & Q-Tip talking to Iggy, later everyone from Lupe, Kendrick, 9th Wonder, Kid Cudi and probably others I don't know about are all fighting with each other.

Same with Vlad getting Jamar & Royce to argue over Eminem... and now there's a thread with posters mad about what Styles P said on VladTV... these conversations about what black artists think of racial issues ending up with black artists and posters yelling at each other. I understand why it happens... it's an internal conversation in the community... but it's a bit ironic.
