That's honestly what I was thinking. Looking at the thread I thought everyone was being sarcastic. Lol. I gotta disagree though. Those songs are ok but very underwhelming to me. Some of these joints on here are laughably bad. I'd take Lasers over this.

Letting Go, Words I Never Said, Beautiful Lasers, All Black Everything, Never Forget You. Those songs were dope. Lasers wasn't all bad. But it certainly was bad.

nikkas have agenda against Lupe. It don't matter whether he dumb it down or uses his regular style nikkas will complain.

Me personally, I actually like Lupe, I just don't like this album. I liked his last album and his 1st 2 are personal classics of mine but I can't see myself going back to this one knowing he's capable of much better. I hope I'm wrong and I'll give it a few more listens but so far I'm underwhelmed.

Understood, I feel you on that. People do unfairly criticize Lupe I think.

this is a pretty jazzy up tempo ass album man. I got high ass hopes for Drogas. If Skulls is supposed to be his magnum opus and Drogas is supposed to be better than T&Y, I dont know what the fukk is gonna be coming out.

I honestly cant even completely hate on PUTP or WC. Like WC isnt good, but it fits the aroma of this album pretty well. Still gotta get clapped up off my tracklist though.

1-9 and then song 14 are cold, every release isn't going to be perfect or close to it, let that nikka live.

Now when he does a show he can perform some songs that are lit, instead of having to grab the hottest beats out and freestyle over them, or play songs like Next 2 It 4 times during a show (last time I saw him live, he played this joint back literally like 4 times... ) it was hype tho.

yeah I heard an actual legit reason that this album contained so many turn up tracks was just cause his set lists was getting stale I fukks with it though, he can ride over that production pretty well

I get the whole "Light" concept and I understand that even Lu knows this album is not his intended to be his best work; however, as a DIE HARD Lu fan, I just can't get behind a Lu album thats straight forward.

The cool 2 turnt into drogas iirc(he said it on twitter) and lupend was supposed to be 3 albums and thats what the collection was gonna be called, so drogas light, drogas, and skulls are basically lupEnd

The nikka literally talks about all of this stuff very openly on twitter so yall criticising stuff that's already been answered


He posted those album covers a long ass time ago so he's being consistent
