I'll keep it brief and say this album is really disappointing. Even the tracks Soundtrakk produced are weak.

yes i know exactly what you talkin about and i remember looking it up and he changed it and said it was gonna be 3 albums, i thought it was gonna be FL2, lasers and somethin else but obviously he kept going

but with him saying THESE 3 are gonna be his last 3, then imo this is lupEnd

Didnt really care for the album that much. Tranquilo and NGL were both solid. City of the Year was good (with the exception of the last verse). The two songs I really liked were 'Jump' and 'Dopamine.' If Lupe's gonna make more "mainstream" sounding music, I'd like him to make music that sounds like that. The rest of the album was either 'eh' or just bad. 5/10 for me.

I get the whole "Light" concept and I understand that even Lu knows this album is not his intended to be his best work; however, as a DIE HARD Lu fan, I just can't get behind a Lu album thats straight forward.

Agreed. I understand the point and parody of alot of these songs/beats, but that doesn't change the fact that this just isn't the kind of music/vibe I love listening to Lupe for.

As always, a couple really good songs, but alot of this won't be getting replay from me considering the huge list of songs from his library I would choose over these.
