It doesn't matter which dumbed down folks "enjoy more". There is no planet in this galaxy or the next where Drogas Light is anywhere near Tetsuo & Youth 
And this is coming from someone who loves DL. Pause.
DL is a dope album. T&Y is a masterful one. Levels.
With that said, my elitist hip hop friends ain't tryna hear it, but this album needed to come out. This one is for all the dudes who said Lupe can't do this type of music. This addition to his collection actually does a lot for his legacy IMO, despite it not being among his top 3 albums. It's good he now has that album you can just throw on in the car or at a party and nobody will bat an eye at it. Plus, it's a good introduction for nikkas. On some "Breh, you thought this shyt was on point? Check this out..." type shyt.
Solid B, 3/5. Take away PUTP and Wild Child and I'd raise that up to a 4/5. I hate them records too much.

I just bought this album from Best Buy yesterday. Is it better than T&Y? Hell no! But, for a trap album with substance essentially it's really good, and honestly more enjoyable in the whip. He still has bars. Now it's just over trap influenced production which is some of the best production I've heard him rap on post The Cool. NGL and Jump are my favorites so far.
Trap album with substance and a few oddball pop records is exactly how I would describe this album.
Only Lupe can drop a hard ass intro like Dopanine Lit then end with a dedication to how much he love his momma
Lasers is an easy yes but F&L 2 a little harder. Strange Fruition, Around My Way, Form Follows Function, Lamborghini Angels, ITAL are some great records.

I like this project, mostly cuz it provides nostalgia from around Lasers lotta songs have that feel. Clearly it's nowhere near a T&Y but it's a cool lil album
