I really cant point a finger on it what is wrong with Lupe:patrice:

He can spit

F&L was piff, and so was Lasers to me

I seriously have zero idea why I still figure him as a "meh" rapper, yet i will not hesitate to pop in F&L and let it ride

If you're not a fan, then you're not a fan. That doesn't mean that Lupe is overrated. :dahell:

I think he's great but he's a bit ahead of his time. sounds cliche, i know. Dude debuted in the mainstream in the nas HHID era and has always been sort of a different breed. I do think certain people don't 'get it' and hype him up simply because he's got his name and his lane. But in reality, he is one of the best rappers when it comes to concepts, consciousness, and asserting himself. He truly is a rebel which is admirable in it's own right. I saw this dude at Penn State call a couple thousand white people Upenn for an entire show with no fukks given :mjlol:. I think the fact that this nikka even still has a job after walking a thin line for so long is enough to say that he is pretty fukking good. i don't think he's overrated, i think he's Lupe Fiasco :yeshrug:.

Y'all are kinda on point about the discog tho :patrice:

Dudes was supposed to be what KDot is now. Even KDot couldn't touch him in his prime

yeah they wanted him to be that guy the mainstream conscious rapper ... he was getting set up lovely too ...

Lupe had one thing over Nas ; he use to know how to make lyrical songs and they did well commercially

but lupe is very full of himself and difficult to work with

he burn a lot of bridges and that's why people dont fu.ck with him :yeshrug:
