You missed Lupe's point.
He spent that entire time avoiding some simple view point like "Fvck Chief Keef" and explained that he understood the issue, what created chief keef and see's Chief Keef how he see's his family because they're growing up and living in similar circumstances.
Also, while I agree completely that the negative effects rap music has on our people is exaggerated, anyone who truly believes that it has NO effect is horribly wrong.
Music is extremely powerful. It influences people for better or for worse, and you're bugging if you think Chief Keef for example isn't inspiring and influencing some nikkas in the Chi and everywhere else to be like him and live that life.

That was about as good an answer to the question they asked as you can possibly give. He didn't attack the people or Chief Keef specifically, but instead acknowledged and attacked the root. Acknowledged that it's happening all over. Acknowledged that it has happened in the past and in the future. Just seems like a genuinely concerned dude and I feel him when he said it's just surreal to be working towards one thing when you have this seemingly eternal machine working to undo everything you try to make your community better.
