In my opinion they either have one foot in the streets doing something illegal, or they are giving the illusion of being rich by spending their advance money on rented homes and rented cars.

If someone can start a business offering financial literacy classes to artists they would make a lot of money. In my opinion a lot of artists don’t know how to handle their money especially if the go from having nothing to having everything in a short period of time.

5 million liquid is well beyond rich. He’s just rich enough that he’s out of touch on what being rich is. If your net worth is more than a million you’re doing very well and anything beyond 2 and you’re a multi-millionaire. A multi-millionaire is definitely rich. With a net worth like that you could live off investments and easily afford a middle class lifestyle with no further work on your part owning a home and car outright.
