It is one of the great "freestyles" of all time. We can agree on that. I put that freestyle on par with Lupe's verse on Poor decisions. Lupe does have the depth to spit what Jay spat. He is often compared to the greats. His career hasn't faced nearly the pressure Jay has but his discography is a million times deeper than Jay's. Not saying its better but you can't deny the difference in OVERALL subject matter. There are things Lupe does better than Jay and vice versa. As beautiful and impressive as that freestyle was, it's aura is enhanced because it was Jay giving us a rare look into his vulnerable side while the main criticism of Lupe is to come down a bit from a lyrical standpoint and be a little more relatable.
