That was before Atlantic changed what the original album was going to sound like. That petition and march stemmed from the hype generated from songs like "I'm Beamin'" and "Shining Down" - two songs that didn't even make the album. He didn't sound confident at all about Lasers in the weeks leading into release. Dude actually said he hated the album in an interview right before it dropped
