I honestly think Royce just misunderstood the assignment. This whole thing started because rappers were arguing about who's the nicest so I think he went for "this is how good I am at rapping" and Lupe went left with "cool bars and all, but I'm coming for your neck". So I expect his reply to be a lot more straightforward as far as being an actual diss record.

That makes me said if Royce just thought it was competition and Lupe took it somewhere else

For real. Idk why Royce thought it was wise to try and showcase his multi-prowess on a battle record, lol. Eminem made this same mistake with Machine Kelly, consensus has Eminem taking the L despite him obviously being a better rapper.

Spooky thing for Royce is Lupe ain't no Machine Kelly, lol, he's got his hands full. He should just go the "Malcolm" route...he wasnt trying to fit 2000 rhymes in 7 minutes there, he was just viciously attacking his opponents...which is what a battle is

Royce isn't dumb, that was his regular demo with a couple jabs thrown in. This was never really supposed to be a personal thing, kinda like how Lux and other nikkas be wanting to chill on the personals and just put on a show, flex.

But that IG freestyle set the tone and now they gotta continue to push each others lines a bit further, he knows exactly where Lupe (and his level of venom) is at right now.

Ya'll getting ahead of yourselves lol, Royce knows what time it is.

This jumped off because Lux, being the genius that he is felt like Royce was looking to draw Lupe out and see how he'd behave in this situation. Now Royce says that wasn't true and I believe him, but if he wasn't then, he is NOW.

Whatever 'friendship' they have goes out the window once certain lines are crossed, I'm gonna assume talking shyt about Chill being one of them.

SOHH ICEY MONOPOLY
Break this down please?!

Its from the novel/movie Dune which is one of the sci fi joints that inspired Star Wars, and has a new version coming out this year

Basically its three royal families that are at war in space over a substance called "spice" thats like an energy source, and the main character is named Paul Atreides from House Atreides who becomes a God/Messiah from all his powers and how he controls the spice economy of the planet, lowkey said Royce is a pawn to his strategic genius :wow: another hidden nerd reference, hes throwing the fact that Royce called him a nerd in his face by saying Im still a God/Emperor when I talk spicy to you :pacspit: Wasalu playing 3D chess with Ryan

Funny you say that

For real though no one gives a damn you spit 1400 words in a diss record

We need this Royce back

Man he didn’t care about word gymnastics

Sorry to say it but Royce needs to take the liquor to the face :francis:. Dude been on this whole "Opus" shyt and forgot what made dude fire from the get go It wasn't fukking "Boom", it was his a$$hole'ish persona with lyrical wordplay. I became a big fan of Royce when he did Death is Certain and went from there. He peaked at The Bar Exam series which showcased Royce in a nutshell.

Once Slaughterhouse diminished and he began juggling Marshall's nuts, dude think he is the embodiment of hip hop. The grim reality is that most of his albums outside of Street Hop been okay to bland AF. Meanwhile Lupe been dropping good to classics since Lasers. Bottom line, Royce wanted to throw a spitball at a man that conceals a cannon.
