I literally just searched "Little Death" in this thread and dapped everyone who enjoyed that track thus far.

2015 just started and Lupe already has the best song of the year :salute:

Wait...again, I'm playing the album backwards right now

No Scratches setting up a relationship that isn't working out so the couple parts ways before getting hurt using a car wreck as a metaphor....but as it turns out, he actually killed the woman, which sets up his recollection of his crazed obsession in Little Death, which leads into the dead woman's body filled with drugs in Body of Work, which leads into incarceration with Prisoner 1 & 2

BREH :mindblown:
Body of Work is definitely about moving weight. I think the 2nd verse is an example of drug code talk, and at the end of the verse, he even says, "If the government figures this out we're through..."

That's why Prisoner coming after that song also coincides with the "Youth & Tetsuo" theory

Like many have said in here, this album has definitely been under shipped.

I copped the last one, my boy copped the last one and some places had no copies.

Album was surprisingly cheap:myman:

Copped the first day at fye. There were a few copies. Been a fan since 06 but I admittedly wrote him off for the past couple of years. thankfully, that's over. Body of Work is probably my favorite song at the moment, although that'll probably change

Also, kinda off topic, but not really, respect to everyone in taking part in the discussion, both negative & positive opinions. It's refreshing to see people show appreciation & time for an artist like Lupe. It's tough to hold legit convos like that where I live

I don't think it's just where u live kid. In NYC, people ain't really talking about the album either. That's the state of hip hop.
