The Cool is my favorite Lupe album. Over the years I've come to rate it even higher than Food & Liquor.
Lupe has been in a zone this year with Tetsuo & Youth and Pharaoh-height. I'm honestly excited, plus he won't have Atlantic holding his strings anymore..
Just think of all the piffery that Atlantic robbed us of when it comes to Lupe
They wouldn't let him do the Triple Disc L.U.Pend
They wouldn't let him put out the original version of Lasers
They wouldn't let him do F&L Part 2 as a double album (robbing us of a second disc we never got)
That's at LEAST a good 30 Lupe songs that we never got officially released
