Honestly... Lupe Fiasco can make any kind of song there is to make. He tends to go the deep route with his lyrics, but he's shown plenty of times that he can scale it back and make great 'enjoyable' (accessible is a better term) records.







I'm kind of time hopping with his music, but I just did that to show that throughout his career he's shown he can make great deep songs that are simple and straight forward.

Just listen to the lyrics in these songs. Not all of Lupe's shyt is a Rubik's Cube. And I swear, if J. Cole or Kendrick dropped 'Next 2 It' it would have blown up.

The fact that RA thinks its not important to be enjoyable as it is to be skilled when it comes to making music shows why he had the career he had. I'm always lyricism first but this is MUSIC, how enjoyable it is to listen to should always be the number 1 factor in making it. If you nikkas wanna be lyricist so bad with no regard for content, flows, beat selection, etc then go battle on URL.
