My top 10

1. Nas (THEE GOAT TO ME)
2. Jay (1b to Nas 1a)
3. Pac (bigger than rap) (if you don’t like Pac I can’t fukk with you)
4. Lupe (greatest lyricist of all time) (my favorite rapper along with future)
5. Em (greatest rhymer of all time)
6, Big (did so much in so little time flawless flow)
7. Cube (greatest run of all time imo 88-93)
8. Common (pure hip hop resurrection displays one of the greatest rhymes ever along with illmatic and tetsuo)
9. Ghostface (I don’t think ghost ever had a bad verse)
10. Scarface (I shouldn’t have to explain why)

My personal top 10.

Lupe succumbed to the lyrical miracle trap of being so fixated on quadruple entendres that they forget how to make good songs

Clearly top 10 personally. Everyone has their lists but Lupe's pen is too good in too many areas.

But brehs are in here hating suggesting Gibbs. Gibbs? Really? :dead: Even if you segment it to only gutter shyt, Lupe's early mixtape work trounces Gibbs.

Ya'll need to stop pretending Food & Liquor is a classic. It's nowhere close. I'll let The Cool slide but we ain't gonna sit here pretend that debut wasn't seen as a disappointment when it came out.
I wasn't aware F&L had expectations, kick push dropped out of nowhere and was a hit, but it's not like it had hot single after single to hype fans up

It's extra funny because Lupe made that nikka Gibbs apologize on Twitter over some shyt he started (notice a pattern?) :mjlol:
