Alek Wek has straight up ugly features, lupita has legitimately model like features so the comparison between the two is ridiculous. I understand if you don't like lupita because of the short hair and lack of a body but a lot of the responses in this thread make it seem like there is something deeper.

The deeper part is probably the fact that most people are cynical about the fact that white people all of a sudden are embracing natural black beauty for a woman who won an Oscar for playing a slave.
